Pre-Mother’s Day Creative Workshop! Make Your Own Love Mug — For Mom, Yourself, or Together!
Celebrate Mother’s Day a little early with a cozy, hands-on clay workshop! Handbuild your own love mug — whether it’s a mother-daughter moment, a treat for yourself, or a fun get-together with friends. You’ll design and shape your mug entirely yourself, making it completely personal. If time allows, you can also create a small extra item, like a teabag holder.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll choose a glaze color from a curated selection of beautiful shades. Glazing is included and will be done by Atelier La Salamandre (or you can book a follow-up glaze decoration workshop if you’d like to create your own glaze design). No prior clay experience is needed; I’ll guide you step by step so you can relax, enjoy the process, and create something special.
What to Expect
The atelier is bright, happy, and decorated for the occasion! We’ll start with a warm welcome and a short introduction to hand-building techniques. Then you’ll shape your mug and explore ways to make it uniquely yours: carve a short message, add texture, or create decorative elements. You’ll also enjoy a sweet treat from the bakery during the workshop.
Your finished mug will be glazed and fired twice, making it durable, food-safe, and dishwasher safe. It will be ready for pickup within 3–4 weeks.

Location
The course is held at my cozy atelier in Weesp (Stationsweg 28-8), just a 3-minute walk from the train station.  Plenty of parking available (€1.20 per hour).
Directions:
- It is in the large white building with many big windows (not the house next door)
- Enter through the metal gate
- Take the lift to the second floor
- My atelier is Room 208
Good to Know
- I speak both Dutch and English, so the workshop will be in either language or a fun mix of both, depending on what the group prefers!
- The workshop will be held in my cozy atelier in Weesp (Stationsweg 28-8), right next to the train station. If you're driving, there's plenty of parking for just €1.20 per hour.
- Handwashing is always recommended to keep your handmade pieces looking their best. However, ceramics are also dishwasher safe!
