Clay Membership - shared atelier (per 4 months)

After your booking, I will personally get in touch with you. This gives us the opportunity to get to know each other better, confirm that the subscription is a good fit for you and the atelier, and plan your first visit.

Work independently in fun and cosy pottery studio - at your own pace and with the flexibility that suits you.

The Clay Membership at Atelier La Salamandre gives you access to a bright, well equipped ceramic atelier for both handbuilding and wheel throwing.

This membership is suitable for makers who have completed at least two courses (preferably at least one at Atelier La Salamandre) and feel confident working independently.

With this subscription, you get access to the studio for 2.5, 5, or 7.5 hours per week, including use of all tools, equipment, and studio glazes (10 dip glazes and 20 decoration glazes). Brush-on glazes are not included.

Perfect for anyone who wants to deepen their skills, experiment freely, and create regularly in a fun and creative environment.

Available Days & Times

I prefer to set a regular day (or days) for your sessions so you can build a consistent creative rhythm. You can schedule your hours via our shared calendar, with some flexibility when needed (for holidays, sickness, special events etc). 

Available days:

• Monday - currently closed
• Tuesdays 13:30 - 22:00h 
• Wednesdays 11:00 - 22:00h
• Thursdays 11:00 - 22:00h 
• Fridays 10:00 - 18:30h 
• Weekends: Always some slots open! Timing varies depending on workshop schedule.

The building where the atelier is located is open every day from 8:00 to 22:00. Are you looking for creative time outside our current atelier opening hours? We’re always happy to discuss the possibilities!

Choose a plan that fits your needs!

Choose between 2.5, 5, or 7.5 hours per week.

All memberships have a minimum term of 4 months. After this period, your subscription automatically continues on a monthly basis, with a 1-month cancellation notice.

• 2.5 hours/week — half shelf storage (50 x 40 x 35 cm)
  €145/month → €580 (4 months)
• 5 hours/week — full shelf storage (80 x 40 x 35 cm)
  €190/month → €760 (4 months)
• 7.5 hours/week — full shelf storage (80 x 40 x 35 cm)
  €225/month → €900 (4 months)
  

Clay & Firing service 

We’ve got you covered: no need to carry heavy bags of clay from the store! 😊
A selection of clays (regular, speckled, white, and handbuilding clay) is available directly at the atelier at standard rates, starting from €12.50 per 10 kg. Clay is not included in the subscription

All firings are handled by Atelier La Salamandre. 

Included in your membership (extra glaze firing: €10 per kg)

• all bisque firings
• up to 3 kg of glaze firing per month

Firing temperatures:

• 1220°C (stoneware glaze)
• 1020°C (earthenware glaze)
• 980°C (bisque)

Atelier equipment

• 8 Whisper T throwing wheels
• 150L kiln
• large handbuilding table
• sink with clay trap
  

Wheel throwing & handbuilding tools:

All essential tools are available at the atelier. You’ll find a well-equipped tool station with everything you need.

Of course, you’re always welcome to bring your own tools if you prefer working with your personal favourites.
